I have been in the business for over 35 years. I started in Chile shooting commercial spots and documentaries in film. I came back to the States 23 years ago to work for one of the most important Spanish TV Networks in The United State, Univision Communications Inc, working as the Chief Video Photographer for the West Coast Bureau. We recorded over 2,500 stories, with different lighting conditions, where my expertise as lighting director came in very handy. We traveled all over The United States, Europe, Mexico, South and Central America and most recently to China Wuhan, Beijing. A few years ago I was called by Julie Stav owner of Julie Stav Inc, whom I worked with in the past. She offered me an impressive project to create a state of the art television studio. I was responsible for the planning, creation and design of the studio project. Including technical operations, lighting design, work flow, and employee training. I worked for Julie Stav Inc. for 5 years continuously and still work on a freelance basis when called upon. I started my company 15 years ago working with many clients which include Julie Stav Inc, Univision, ABC, NBCUniversal/Telemundo and CNN. I'm always looking for new challenges in my career to grow my skills.
Throughout my professional career I have functioned in a variety of positions to include:
Producer, Director, Director of Photography, TD, ENG-EFP-DSLR Photographer, TOC, Video Control Operator, Tricaster operator, Linear & Non Linear Editor, Quality Control, and Consultant for special projects, Aerial Videography, Drone Pilot. I have also directed Music Videos and Commercial Spots in Film and Video.
